We spent last night with old friends. Marti was visiting from Spokane, WA and we all met at Scott and Nancy's for a BBQ. Ash, Chris and Carrie were there and Josh and Chrissie brought cute little Matthew. We talked and laughed and caught up and related old times to the kids. We shared cell phone numbers and pictures and love for little Matthew and Marti's first grandson, Robbie. It was a splendid night.
Today was busy getting the house ready for company next weekend and getting Dan ready for his trip to NYC, London and Dubai. Tonight's episode of "The Great Race" took place in Dubai, so we got a sneak peek at what Dan will be seeing very soon. He is excited and nervous and has to wake up at 3 a.m.!
